Commencement Information

What does a Virtual Commencement Ceremony look like?

It will be mostly the same as if it were in person, but instead of graduates walking across the stage, graduates will be recognized with their name and degree or certificate earned. If you want to have YOUR PHOTO, along with your name, degree or certificate earned to be individually recognized, you need to email us and tell us you want to have your photo in the Virtual Commencement Ceremony by Friday, April 30, 2021 to commencement@btc.edu. Interim President Walter Hudsick will also direct graduates to move their tassels at the end of the ceremony which signifies being a graduate. Graduates are invited to wear their regalia while watching the Virtual Commencement Ceremony on Wednesday, June 23 with their family and friends!

Just think what a wonderful and memorable opportunity having a Virtual Commencement Ceremony could be for the graduates, their families and friends. No tickets, no waiting in line, no parking hassles, no long-distance commuting. This day belongs to our graduates, and it is our goal to make it a special, joyous occasion.
