Technology Training
Technology training is crucial for our employees at every level and role here at BTC. We are dedicated to providing a myriad of opportunities and resources for technology training for our faculty and staff.
eLearning
eLearning provides campus-wide training and support for Canvas, BTC's online Learning Management System (LMS), as well as for other instructional technologies, such as Panopto and Big Blue Button.

Teaching and Learning Academy
The Teaching and Learning Academy (TLA) was established at BTC in spring 2020 as part of the Guided Pathways project and a Title III Strengthening Institutions Program grant from the US Department of Education. Teaching and Learning Academy aims to support student learning at BTC by providing faculty with professional development opportunities and resources that will facilitate quality instruction and close equity gaps for non-traditional students. TLA key projects include TLA 101 (New Faculty Orientation), quarterly Faculty In-service days, monthly TLA Tribune newsletter, and TLA Toolkit (Teaching & Learning Resources).
