Opportunity Grant Scholarship

Supports low income students pursuing technical programs that will result in high demand, high wage occupations.

This is a competitive application process please follow directions completely.

A Complete Application must include:


  • Completed Opportunity Grant Application

  • A copy of Unofficial College Transcript, (not necessary if you are from BTC)

  • Your 2024-2025 Financial Aid documents MUST be completed with the BTC Student Financial Resources office located in College Services Building, Room 101.

Must have accepted a program seat AND registered for program courses to be eligible for Opportunity Grant support.

 

Scholarship Recipients may receive


  • Tuition and fees for up to 45 college level credits

  • $1,000 for required books, supplies and tools

All applicants will be contacted by email at least two weeks prior to the start of the following quarter. If selected, students are required to meet with the Opportunity Grant Coordinator. Contact information and next steps will be provided by email.
