Tutoring Center
Tutoring is offered online and in person for Spring Quarter 2024. We will open on the first day of the quarter: Tuesday, April 2nd through June 21st. Please see our full schedule below:
In Person CAMPUS TUTORING HOURS:
NEW LOCATION: The Study Hub, Building 2, located in the DMC parking lot
Tuesday - Friday 10am-3pm
ONLINE HOURS THROUGH ZOOM:
Monday afternoon: 4:00pm - 6:00pm
Wednesday evening: 6:00pm - 8:00pm

Supporting your success
If you’re like many BTC students, you’re a working adult, are raising a family, or have other responsibilities—so attending and studying for classes can be a challenge. You’re not alone! Even the best students have difficulty juggling it all.
That’s why we offer Tutoring Services—a free service to help you increase your understanding and achieve success in math, accounting, chemistry, biology, writing, English, and many other courses. Tutors are recruited for whatever subject is requested by BTC students.

Online Tutoring is available for Math, Accounting, Chemistry, Biology, Writing, English, and many other courses. (Uses Zoom)

Tutors are graduate students, peer tutors, BTC graduates, retired teachers, professionals and others.

Tutoring is conducted one on one and in small groups by class.

You may schedule a one on one appointment in advance or drop-in for tutor help during open hours.

How to access Tutoring Services

Submit a Tutoring Request form to the Tutoring Center.

To receive tutoring, you must be attending class and working on assignments.

If you need help in a subject that is not on the current schedule, submit a Tutoring Request form, and staff will attempt to locate a tutor.

Drop In Tutoring
BTC Tutoring Services are free, conducted in a group setting, and provided on a drop-in basis when classes are in session.

Drop-In Tutoring Schedule
This schedule is subject to change. Check with the Tutoring Center for the latest subjects and tutors.
All Tutoring is currently offered in an online format through Zoom Meetings.
We will also be scheduling students for one on one appointments. You may request a tutor for outside of the 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. hours by emailing mgunning@btc.edu. Allow 24-48 hours for scheduling during Monday-Friday.
