Evening & Weekend College

The Evening and Weekend College is designed as an alternative scheduling option for those who have not been able to pursue their educational goals during traditional class times.

The purpose of the Evening and Weekend format is to reduce the amount of time that a student needs to actually be in the classroom. Therefore, most of the courses are on Saturdays, Sundays, or online. You can use a combination of course delivery systems to complete a program of study.

Programs

The Accounting and Business Management degree completion track offers those students with perhaps some previous college experience an opportunity to complete a degree program. Because courses are offered within a 6-week period, this program is considered accelerated. Students meet with the instructor/professor one or two weekend days for an on-campus experience and throughout the week complete an independent learning component. This dual approach optimizes the busy student schedule, yet offers the opportunity to complete each course.

As the group progresses through the program, support is optimized through the collaboration and team class projects. The student also maintains a portfolio which documents progress and successes and can be utilized to exhibit unique educational experiences. The Evening and Weekend College is flexible in that in some circumstances, students can move in and out of the track when necessary due to life difficulties or change in schedules.
