Strategic Planning

The governor has set high goals for enrolling 230,000 additional students by the year 2017 in “The University System of Ohio.” The Ohio Board of Regents chancellor has set target items to be developed in the areas of access, quality, affordability, and economic leadership. Furthermore, Belmont Technical College will soon offer Associate of Science and Associate of Arts degrees.

Therefore, Belmont Technical College has developed a process to DISCOVER the college and what it offers, DREAM what can and should be the mission, vision, and values for the college, DESIGN an operational plan to meet the goals, and reach for a DESTINY that fulfills all stakeholders wants and needs for the betterment of the community.

Under the leadership of the Strategic Planning Council and in collaboration with administration, faculty, staff, students, and employers, a Strategic Planning process will be followed that will conclude with a Strategic Plan that includes specific action strategies for the college.
