John J. Shannon Two Plus Two Scholarship
The John J. Shannon Two Plus Two Scholarship is designed to assist students of exceptional promise to reach their full educational potential. The scholarship will be allocated to support access to an Associate of Arts Degree and to encourage the attainment of a Baccalaureate Degree. Therefore, the goals of providing this institutional scholarship award are to:
- Expand higher education options for exceptional students.
- Encourage persistence within the higher education system in Belmont, Harrison, and Monroe Counties (Ohio).
- Identify and support students with exceptional promise who have participated in extracurricular activities and demonstrated excellence in academic endeavors.
GPA: 3.0
Amount: 1-2(depending on funds) Up to $1500 per quarter for 6 consecutive quarters available as funding remains to cover tuition, fees and required books after other grants are applied.
Major: Associates of Arts, Associates of Science, Belmont College/OUE Joint Degrees
