|
Child care is available on the Main Campus for children of
enrolled students. The Center has an exciting environment that
combines quality care with a sound educational curriculum based
on each child's age and level of development. The Center is
also used as a lab component for practicum experiences for Child
Development majors. Licensed by the state of Ohio, the Center
is available for children aged 18 months to 14 years. Hours of operation are from 7:30 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. during fall, winter
and spring quarters. A summer program is available from 7:30
a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
Registration is required. Interested students should contact
the Child Care Center at the earliest possible
date. Vacancies are filled from a waiting list according to
age and on a space-available basis.
Fees are determined on a sliding scale based on total family
income. Federal funding and college scholarships are available
to eligible participants.
CHILDREN ON CAMPUS
Any child not enrolled in the College's Child Care programs may
not be left unattended by the parent while on campus. Parents of children left unattended will be called from class. Children may not be taken into a class without prior permission of
the instructor. Instructors are under no obligation to allow
children in the classroom.
