Required classes for the Certified Paramedic to Registered Nurse program.

Belmont Technical College offers you, the certified paramedic, entry into the second level of the Associate Degree Nursing program through the Paramedic Transitional Nursing curriculum!

The transitional quarter allows you, the certified paramedic, the chance to:

  • Advance your education without repeating work
  • Make the necessary transition to enter the second level of the Associate Degree Nursing Program
  • Enter the program whether you earned your certified paramedic training from Belmont Technical College or another school
  • Enter the program on a first-come, first-served basis after all admission requirements have been met

Class size is limited to space available in the second level ADN program, so enroll today and be on your way to your degree in registered nursing!

Learning Outcomes:

  1. Apply the nursing process through identification of clients’ needs and development of a plan of individualized care.
  2. Implement effective communication techniques with clients, families, and members of the health care team.
  3. Formulate client teaching strategies based on individualized client needs analysis.
  4. Manage and delegate nursing care while functioning as a member of the healthcare team.
  5. Develop personal responsibility and accountability for ethical nursing practice and lifelong learning while becoming a member of the nursing profession.
