Beginning in the Fall quarter of 2011, Web Design and Programming are being combined into one major named Programming. There are currently many similarities between the Web Design and Programming majors with the differences being the business courses. Now in the new major there will be a couple of courses entitled Business Electives. Students interested in Web Design are encouraged to take Business Law, Web Marketing types of business courses for their electives where the students interested in Business Programming should lean towards Accounting type courses for their business electives.
Learning Outcome:
- Be proficient in the languages Visual Basic and C ++ along with databases and Structured Query Language.
