The objective of the Associate of Applied Science Degree in Microcomputer Applications is to prepare you to function in the professional work environment. You can develop the high-tech skills needed in today’s fast-paced cyber world. As microcomputer PCs have evolved, users are required to develop high-level skills in performance software such as

  • Word processing
  • Spreadsheets
  • Databases
  • Desktop publishing
  • Presentation graphics 
  • Program coding and design

When completed, this high-powered, intense program will earn you an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Microcomputer Applications and prepare you as a microcomputer super-user that will launch you into a high-tech career.

Learning Outcomes:

  1. Gain experience in operating systems and programming.
  2. Become a superuser in the Microsoft Office software with word processing, spreadsheets, database, presentations and publishing.
