Make-up and Online CourseTesting
Instructors at Belmont College have the option of placing make-up and/or online course exams in the Charles W. Kocher Student Success Center. The Student Success Center provides drop-in testing during each term (subject to change). Each term, drop-in testing times are posted on signs throughout the college. Each time a student needs to take a test, he or she must sign an agreement to abide by the Make-Up and Online Course Testing Policy.
Make-Up and Online Course Testing Policy:
- Please stop in during drop-in testing hours to make up an exam for your course.
- Cell phones, pagers, and other electronic equipment must be turned OFF before the testing begins.
- Only items designated by the instructor on the test request form will be permitted in the testing area (pencils, calculator, etc.).
- Once a test has started, students must remain seated for the duration. Immediately upon completion, the student must turn in the exam to the proctor.
- If the student cannot meet a testing deadline, it is the responsibility of the student to contact the instructor to make further arrangements.
- The Testing Center Staff is not permitted to make any changes to the instructor’s testing instructions without the instructor’s approval.
- Cheating of any kind will be reported to the appropriate instructor.
Students must provide a Photo ID each time they take a make-up test.
Drop-in testing is only available at the main campus. North Center or Monroe County students must schedule an appointment at their respective locations.
Instructors: If you would like to submit tests to the Student Success Center, please complete Form 24-Request for Testing, and submit it with the test(s) directly to the Student Success Center. You may also place the form and tests in a secure, sealed envelope and place the envelope in our mailbox (#37).
