Toddler Program

The toddler schedule offers time for play outside. The Toddler Program is for children who are ages 18 months through 36 months of age. Toddlers learn by experiencing the environment through their senses of seeing, hearing, tasting, smelling and touching; by physically moving around; and through social interaction. The Toddler Program provides many opportunities for the child to experience and interact with their surroundings while also learning independence skills such as toileting, feeding, and dressing. Social skills are introduced while recognizing that toddlers are in process of acquiring these skills, and may not yet be able to understand the concept of sharing. A morning and afternoon snack is offered daily. Children bring their own lunches each day if eating in the Center.
