Tuition/Fees
Before your child can attend, payment arrangements MUST be made and approved by the Director. Scholarships and state funding are available to those who qualify and may pay part or all of the total fees. Fees are subject to change. The Director will help to determine which type of funding you may be qualified to receive based on the state and county in which you reside, in addition to your total family income. The current rate per child is $3.00 per hour.
State funding may be available from your County Department of Jobs and Family Services (ODJFS.) Every year, ODJFS will send you a re-verification form in the mail and ask you to send it back to them with a copy of your current income verification, class schedule, and latest copy of grades. In order to keep your funding for our center, you must return this paperwork to your ODJFS. Failure to do so could result in your paying the full fee for child care.
A BTC scholarship is available to those who have applied to ODJFS and been refused or who are under income guidelines but do not qualify for ODJFS funding. A completed application form and a copy of all family members’ income verification are required in order to apply for the scholarship. You must reapply every year or if your income changes. Applications are available from the Director.
Billing is done monthly, usually by the second week of the month. If you do not receive a bill in a timely manner, contact the Director of Child Care Services immediately.
Alternate payment methods may be arranged in cases of hardship or charitable need by submitting a written request and after consultation with the Director. Tuition which is past due for two months could result in a child losing his/her space in the program unless prior arrangements have been made with the Director.
