- Workforce Initiative Association (WIA formerly JTPA ) and Trade Adjustment Act (TAA) – Assistance for individuals who recently lost jobs or are entering the workforce after an extended period of unemployment. For information about WIA and TAA, contact the Employment Source at 740-942-2171. WIA Area 16 covers, Belmont , Harrison, Carroll, and Jefferson Counties . For Monroe , Morgan, Noble, and Washington Counties call 740-732-1441. Students must complete the FAFSA to determine eligibility for grants before being considered for WIA funding. - Bureau of Vocational Rehabilitation (BVR) – Educational assistance may be available for students with special needs.
