State Aid Programs

- Ohio Instructional Grant (OIG) - This program is
operated by the Ohio
Board of Regents and may be used to pay instructional
fees only. To be eligible, the student must be an Ohio resident
enrolled fulltime as an undergraduate in an eligible college
and making appropriate progress toward an associate degree
(not applicable toward certificate programs). Students who
have received a baccalaureate degree are not eligible for
the OIG.
- Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Association
(PHEAA) - This program is operated by the Pennsylvania
Higher Education Assistance Agency. Funds may be used to pay
instructional fees only for Pennsylvania residents. Student
must be enrolled fulltime as an undergraduate and making appropriate
progress toward an associate degree.
- Ohio War Orphans Scholarship - This scholarship is
available to children of disabled or deceased war veterans
and children of persons declared prisoners of war or missing
in action in Southeast Asia. Applications may be obtained
from the Ohio
Board of Regents.
- Ohio Nurse Education Assistance Loan Program (NEALP)
- Provides financial assistance to students enrolled in approved
nurse education programs. The program also encourages these
students to remain in Ohio as they enter the nursing profession.
Application deadline is June 1 of each year.
