    Interested in a career in industrial technology or manufacturing? Come meet with local and regional employers, including aerospace and industrial maintenance employers, at this free career fair. Attendees are encouraged to dress professionally and bring copies of their resumes. The career fair is being combined with a financial fair in the same room. Experts will be on hand to provide tax advice, financial aid information, answer questions about healthcare access and more.

  • Commencement Kickoff11:30 am-1:00 pm in G103
    Commencement is just around the corner, so let's celebrate with a kickoff party! Join us at lunch to pick up your 4 Commencement tickets (bring photo ID!); get a FREE GIFT from the BTC Foundation; and buy your graduation cap, gown, and tassel. There will also be a fun photo booth with free pictures courtesy of ASBTC. Congrats, students - you're almost done!

May 13th, Friday

  • BTC Welding Rodeo: Sculpture Competition and Skills Challenge8 am-5 pm in Morse Center
    The sparks will fly as BTC hosts its annual Welding Rodeo Friday and Saturday, May 13-14! The event includes skills challenges for student and professional welders, as well as a sculpture competition that gives teams eight hours to turn a pile of metal scraps into a sculpture inspired by the rodeo's theme. This year's theme is Mythical Creatures. Welding students will be selling student-made metal art, and other college programs will be present with food and activities. Friday is the college team competition and Saturday is the professional competition for team sculpture. Sculptures are auctioned off to raise money for student scholarships.

May 14th, Saturday

  • BTC Welding Rodeo: Day 28 am-6:30 pm in Morse Center
    Day two of BTC's annuall Welding Rodeo will bring professional welding teams to campus to see who can create the most incredible scrap to sculpture transformation in eight hours! The event runs includes skills challenges for student and professional welders, as well as a sculpture competition that gives teams eight hours to turn a pile of metal scraps into a sculpture inspired by the rodeo's theme: Mythical Creatures. Welding students will be selling student-made metal art, and other college programs will be present with food and activities. The professional sculptures and the top student sculpture are auctioned off to raise money for student scholarships.

    Drop-in counseling located in the Admissions and Student Resource Center is recommended for students who are unsure of their educational goals and/or want to explore career options. Drop-in counseling is also available for current students with program or personal concerns.
